We have a new boss at our house and he answers to Charlie.
Seven months ago we decided to introduce another dog into the house as we are not a one-dog home. Hard not to love once little, now quickly becoming big Charlie, unless you’re the old man Jack.
I tried to introduce them as smoothly as possible, but it didn’t take old man Jack long to recognize he wasn’t going to like this change.
It was evident early on that little Charlie would grow into quite the dog.
Big fan of the black and white, but Charlie’s an even bigger fan of leaves and sticks.
Charlie knows no boundaries when trying to find the most comfortable spot.
Charlie beginning to come into his own, while Jack just wants to get some sleep.
At times, Jack certainly feels like this mentoring is being forced on him.
Jack: go bother someone else. I need some rest.
Having fun with one of the art apps on the iPhone.
Beginning to accept the fact that Charlie is here to stay.
The grands have certainly gotten comfortable with Charlie around.
Suddenly Charlie isn’t a puppy anymore and we may have some new things to worry about around the house.
